"Slow Target Lock Is Frustrating"
It takes way too long to lock on to targets. I kept waiting for it to respond, and by the time it did, the moment had usually passed. I get that there may be some policy or safety reason they point to for why it works this way, but it still feels like an excuse when the basic function is just too slow.

I bought this Bushnell rangefinder figuring, okay, Bushnell is a safe bet and I won’t have to overthink it. But mine keeps giving me different yardages from the exact same spot, which makes it hard to trust. I even started doing the quick mental shortcut of comparing it to my buddy’s rangefinder and the course markers, and it was sometimes off by 8–12 yards. That’s a big deal when you’re trying to pick a club and just want to hit the shot. I reset it, changed the battery, and still had the same problem. For the price, I expected something I could point, click, and rely on. Disappointed.

"Worked great for a while, then not so much"
I bought this Bushnell golf rangefinder and at first it worked really well — actually, it worked great for the first few rounds. Then it started giving me weird random distances and even shut off in the middle of a round. I tried swapping in new batteries and messing with the reset options, but nothing really changed. For what it costs, I expected it to hold up a lot longer. Frustrating...

I tried using it over the first few days after it arrived, but it just wouldn’t pair reliably. Sometimes it would connect after a couple of tries, and other times I’d spend 10 or 15 minutes messing with it with no luck. By the end of the week, I was frustrated and stopped trusting it to work when I needed it...

It took me way too long to get my Bushnell golf device set up and activated. The app kept saying it couldn’t find the device, so I had to restart everything a few times before it finally worked. The instructions didn’t help much either, and some of the wording felt a little misleading, like it made the process sound way simpler than it actually was. It’s working now, but my first impression was frustrating.

I kind of had a feeling this might be an issue, and sure enough, it keeps slipping off the cart. I wanted to give it a chance, but it basically confirmed what I already suspected. Frustrating to keep having to readjust it.

I don’t really understand what’s going on with these software updates. My Bushnell was working fine before, but every time there’s an update, it feels like something new starts acting weird. After the last one, it got slower and kept dropping the connection, which was frustrating.
I contacted support and they told me to reset it and try again, so I did, but it didn’t really change much. Maybe I’m missing something, but I feel like I spent more time messing around with the app and settings than actually using it while I was on the course.
For what this thing costs, I just expected it to be more straightforward. Updates are supposed to make things better, right? Instead, I’m left wondering why a device that used to work okay now feels half broken

It took days before I got any kind of answer, and when someone finally did respond, the tone made me feel like I was being talked down to. Not a great experience.

"I really wanted to like this…"
I really wanted to like this, but the GPS kind of let me down. I’d be standing in the exact same spot and it would show different yardages, which gets frustrating fast on the course. Hard to trust it when the numbers keep jumping around, so I’d put the blame on the GPS accuracy. For me, it just wasn’t worth it.
"Warranty help went nowhere"
I reached out to Bushnell Golf about a warranty issue and thought it would be straightforward. I had my proof of purchase ready and sent over the information they asked for, so I figured it would just be a matter of... well, getting it handled.
The replies took a while, and when they did come back, they mostly felt like generic copy-and-paste responses. I kept having to explain the same situation again, which got old fast, especially since it didn’t seem to move anything forward.
Maybe other people have had better luck with their warranty support, but my experience was really frustrating. I wouldn’t feel good about buying again unless their support process changes, because if something goes wrong, then...

I waited weeks for a replacement and still got nothing, not even a real update. the whole thing felt pathetic, like they couldn’t manage the most basic customer service task.

"Good When It Works, But the Battery Is Frustrating"
I do actually like this rangefinder when it’s working, so I’m not just trying to complain for no reason. It does the job fine, but the battery life has been disappointing for me. After just a few rounds, it already needs a charge, and there have been times where it died faster than I expected. For what it costs, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect better battery performance. It’s not useless or anything, but having to constantly check it before every game is getting annoying

"Device is okay, app is a headache"
The golf device itself is fine when it actually works, but omg the app is such a mess. It keeps dropping the connection and I end up having to pair it again and again. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, basically all the usual stuff lol, but it’s still the same issue. Super annoying when you’re ready to play and it just won’t sync. Tbh, for the price, I expected way better.

"Not sure the features really add much"
I don’t know if it’s just me, but most of the features felt kind of pointless while I was actually on the course. I kept expecting them to be more useful, but I barely found myself needing them. Maybe others get more out of it, but for me they didn’t really add much to the experience.

"Good products, but checkout could be smoother"
I liked the selection and found a few things I was excited to buy. That said, the site was kind of confusing to navigate, and the checkout process took longer than I expected. Still, I’m happy with what I ended up ordering and would probably give it another try if the site gets a little easier to use.

It just feels kind of awkward to hold , and it makes my bag feel heavier than I expected .

I was hoping this would feel a lot more solid for the price, but the build quality just isn’t there. After only a few rounds, mine started feeling loose, and then the buttons got sticky too... not exactly what I expected. Disappointing overall.

"Great If You Enjoy Tinny, Crackly Sound"
I bought this mostly for the speaker, so naturally that’s the part that turned out to be terrible. The sound is thin and tinny, it’s not nearly loud enough when I’m out on the course, and if you turn it up, it starts crackling like it’s begging for retirement. For the price, I was expecting a lot more. Definitely disappointed and wouldn’t buy it again...

"Kind of Regret Paying Full Price"
I bought this from bushnellgolf.com on a bit of an impulse, thinking the higher price meant it would be really solid. But once I started using it, my first reaction was, “Wait… this is it?” It’s not terrible or anything, but I definitely don’t feel like I got great value for the money. For what they charge, I expected better features and less hassle. It kind of feels like you’re mostly paying for the Bushnell name. I probably wouldn’t buy it again unless it was seriously discounted.

"Hard to See in Sunlight"
I really wanted to like this, but the display is just too hard to read outside. In direct sunlight, I kept tilting it every which way and still could barely make out the numbers. It got frustrating fast, especially when I was trying to play and kept waiting around just to see what was on the screen.
